GM fight fans and welcome to this weekends prospect watch recap, this weekends we have a lot of young talent on display with having both UFC 296 and Cage Warriors 165. so with our further ramble, lets get into it 👊 

UFC 296
🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿Casey O’Neil vs Ariane Lipski🇧🇷 

The women's flyweight bout between Casey O’Neill and former KSW champion Ariane Lipski at UFC 296 prelims delivered an early upset, showcasing the unpredictable nature of mixed martial arts. 👊 

In the first round, both fighters exhibited sharp kicks, engaging in a clinch with O’Neill initially in control. Despite Lipski managing to reverse position against the fence, neither fighter secured a takedown. The striking exchanges in the open showcased the power of Lipski's strikes, but O’Neill pressed forward, attempting a late takedown that was countered by Lipski, who secured a takedown of her own. 🤼 

Round two saw Lipski gaining momentum, rocking O’Neill and landing a head kick. O’Neill, absorbing multiple strikes, initiated a takedown attempt, but Lipski countered, maintaining top position and delivering ground-and-pound. O’Neill, resilient, survived a choke attempt but ultimately succumbed to an armbar, forcing her to tap. Lipski's performance marked a significant improvement in her UFC journey.

The fight briefly paused due to a low blow, but upon resumption, Siahaan landed a significant left cross, staggering Cabrera, who instinctively shot for a takedown.

The judges unanimously scored the bout (30-27, 30-27, 30-27) in favor of Ronal Siahaan, marking a convincing debut in Cage Warriors. While Siahaan showcased striking prowess, there are areas to address, particularly in grappling exchanges against higher-caliber opponents in the flyweight division.

🇺🇸Anthony Orozco vs Benjamin Orozco🇺🇸 

In the welterweight showdown between Anthony Orozco and Benjamin Orozco at Cage Warriors 165, fans were treated to an action-packed bout that ended with a stunning knockout 👊 

The first round witnessed Benjamin's aggressive pursuit of takedowns, repeatedly attempting to bring the fight to the ground. Despite securing takedowns, Anthony showcased swift recoveries and landed a massive right hand after breaking from the clinch, momentarily rocking Benjamin. The constant grappling exchanges and reversals kept the pace frenetic, with Anthony even attempting an arm-in guillotine that didn't find success.

Entering the second round, Anthony unleashed a series of head kicks that, while not landing flush, visibly hurt Benjamin. Anthony intensified his striking assault with a relentless barrage of boxing. Benjamin, resilient in seeking takedowns, managed to survive the round despite Anthony's dominance on the feet. Anthony also attempted a reverse triangle, showcasing his diverse skill set.

As fatigue set in for Benjamin, Anthony seized control in the final round. Benjamin persisted in his takedown attempts, but Anthony's effective defense and ground and pound left him fatigued. The referee issued warnings to Benjamin for inactivity, prompting a stand-up. Anthony capitalized on Benjamin's weariness, delivering a series of powerful strikes that culminated in a third-round TKO victory. 👏
