This weekends Fight Night Forecast👊- ONE Championship Friday Fights 46.

GM fight fans! Welcome to this weekend's fight night forecast. This week, due to the holiday break, we have a smaller schedule with only ONE Championship, but fear not – it's a fantastic card with plenty of belts on the line. Without further ado, let's dive into the action! 👊

ONE CHAMPIONSHIP FRIDAY FIGHTS 46
🇹🇭Tawanchai vs Superbon🇹🇭

Tawanchai (left) vs Superbon (right)

In the main event of this ONE Championship card, we're in for a thrilling featherweight Muay Thai clash between the current champion, Tawanchai (5-0 in ONE), and the challenger, Superbon (2-1 in ONE). Tawanchai, the reigning champion, remains undefeated in ONE Championship, securing victories over notable contenders such as Davit Kiria and Jo Nattawut en route to claiming the ONE Championship gold. 🏆️

Facing him is the Muay Thai legend, Superbon, who had a bit of a rocky start in ONE Championship, suffering a defeat to current featherweight kickboxing champion Chingiz Allazov. However, he bounced back with a win against Tayfun Ozcan in June, putting him back on the path to title contention. 👊

For Superbon to secure a victory, he must apply forward pressure on Tawanchai while maintaining calculated strikes. Engaging in a brawl with Tawanchai may not be the wisest strategy. Additionally, countering Tawanchai's punches with well-timed inside low kicks could prove effective, as demonstrated by Jo Nattawut in a previous bout with Tawanchai.

Tawanchai's keys to victory lie in keeping Superbon on the back foot and preventing him from gaining confidence with his precise strikes. Working in the clinch could be advantageous, considering Superbon's recent focus on kickboxing; he might be a bit rusty with clinching and elbows.

As for the Cage Chronicle's prediction, we anticipate a victory for the current champion, Tawanchai, securing a KO in the 3rd round. 🔮

ONE CHAMPIONSHIP FRIDAY FIGHTS 46
🇮🇹Joseph Lasiri vs Prajanchai PK Saenchai🇹🇭

Prajanchai (Left) vs Lasiri (Right)

In the co-main event of this ONE Championship card, fans are in for a treat as the strawweight Muay Thai world championship is up for grabs. The current champion, Joseph Lasiri (1-1 ONE), is set to face Thai challenger Prajanchai (3-1 ONE). This matchup holds a sense of déjà vu for Muay Thai enthusiasts, as these two fighters have crossed paths before in Lasiri's debut with ONE Championship. In their initial encounter, Lasiri secured an unexpected victory after Prajanchai quit on the stool in the 3rd round due to a significant cut. Now, in their second bout, Prajanchai seeks redemption. 👊

Current champion Joseph Lasiri is coming off a loss to Muay Thai great Rodtang, where he fell short in a unanimous decision. To emerge victorious in this rematch, Lasiri must leverage his height and size advantage, utilizing long-range strikes. Additionally, he should increase the pressure when he senses he has hurt Prajanchai. 🧙

Prajanchai, having secured three wins in his last three fights after the initial loss to Lasiri, boasts victories over Sam-A and Akram Hamid. Prajanchai's path to victory involves relentless pressure, preventing Lasiri from settling into his comfort zone at a distance. He might also consider clinching if he feels he's tiring, disrupting Lasiri's quick movements.

As for the Cage Chronicle's prediction, we foresee Prajanchai seeking redemption and securing a KO victory in the 4th round. 🔮
